Solinst Rainlogger Edge [111108] Rain Gauge Logger

The Rainlogger Edge is an inexpensive datalogger designed torecord the tips of a standard tipping-bucket rain gauge with anormally-open style reed switch output. This compact anddurable field unit offers long-term reliability and conveniencewith a battery that lasts up to 10 years, and improved ESD(electrostatic discharge) protection with an ABS housing.

The event time stamp and total rainfall per time period is loggedin non-volatile memory, which holds up to 60,000 readings.Sampling is event based, as the Rainlogger Edge records andsaves each tip of the tipping-bucket as it happens.

Detailed Data
Levelogger customers can add rainfall data to their waterlevel monitoring networks using the intuitive LeveloggerSoftware. The Rainlogger Edge provides easy incorporation ofprecipitation data into existing Levelogger data. Rainfall datacan allow correlation between precipitation events and changesin groundwater or surface water levels.

The Rainlogger Edge is compatible with all Solinst Leveloggercommunication and deployment accessories. Logged data can bedownloaded direct to a PC, your smart device using the SolinstLevelogger App, or to a DataGrabber data transfer device. Thisversatile logger has the ability to integrate into a Solinst TelemetrySystem and has the option to communicate using SDI-12 protocol(see Model 9500, 9100/9200 and 3001).

Levelogger App & Interface
A smart alternative for programming, data collection, viewing and sharing, is theLevelogger App Interface that uses Bluetooth® wireless technology to connectall Levelogger Series products to your smart device using the Solinst LeveloggerApp (see Model 3001 Solinst Levelogger App & Interface)
