General Tools DCS600A Borescope 8 mm is a new watertight video inspection system. The grip, probe, and monitor are guaranteed leak-proof in up to 1 meter of water and will not leak if submerged in depths of up to 2 meters for 1 hour. Although not the most common conditions in which video inspections are done, it speaks volumes about the versatility of the DCS600A; working in wet conditions or even underwater is no longer an issue of concern.

The DCS600A comes equipped with a 1-meter (3.28 ft.) long, flexible-obedient probe that has a depth of field from 2.4 in to 10 ft. The camera probe is 8 mm (0.31") in diameter and produces VGA resolution picture at 640 x 480 pixels. The end of the camera probe is fitted with four adjustable LEDs to illuminate objects of interest. Using the included AV cable, video can be streamed live to a PC for larger viewing. The display can be rotated 180° for easier viewing and 4x digital zoom can be employed for faraway objects. The DCS600A Waterproof Borescope is well suited for plumbing applications and other uses where wet circumstances are common.
